Anugerah Skrin makes a comeback in search for fresh-faced actors. The series will be hosted by Suzairhe Sumari alongside with Huda Ali, the female winner of Anugerah Skrin 2006. Shahril Wahid, the male winner of Anugerah Skrin 2006, will complete the list of hosts for the competition. Returning with a brand new format, Anugerah Skrin aims to bring out the best of the shortlisted, with various acting syllables and in depth learning in 11 weeks and that’s no mean feat!

Contestants will be asked to act in different drama genres and paired up with several experienced actors. Another new feature would be the presence of 2 established actors who act as their mentors – Seri Wahyuni Jaes who is also a TV scriptwriter and Sani Husin, who is currently an Arts educator.

The drama segment will be telecast at 8.30pm every Tuesday and LIVE show will be held every Friday, which will also be the Results Show. The challenge? Contestants will only be given 1 rehearsal and 1 take for the drama segment.

Winners will be selected based on 50% by judges and 50% through votes. Audience can vote from Tuesday 8.30pm to Friday at 6pm the same week. Every week, 2 contestants will be eliminated until the Top 6 are chosen to the Grand Finals. Only 2 winners (1 female and 1 male contestant) will be crowned as the Champions of Anugerah Skrin 2010.

Anugerah Skrin will make its debut LIVE on Tuesday, 4 May 2010 at 8.30pm on Suria.
